Steve is a composer and musician with a wide range of tastes. After a formal training in classical music, Steve formed the band 'Busker' in 1973. A wide variety of music was performed and several albums were recorded. Steve continues to write and record under his own name, and as Stevie Mack.

After travelling extensively through the tropics, Steve became influenced by the music he encountered and was inspired to create this Tropical Trilogy under the pen name of Stevie Mack.

BUSKER first met JD Dinsdale in the fall of 1975.

After several gigs as a roadie, BUSKER invited JD to become their soundman and unofficial photographer.
 JD has also contributed lyrics for some of Steve's Songs,and has been the engineer and graphics designer for most of his projects.
