JAKE LEVESQUE
| JAKE LEVESQUE Jake has been playing music for longer than his neighbours care to remember. He was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where he played with "THE MUSIC SHOP" and "EAST WEST". He's been in London since 1973, singing and playing (piano and guitar) as a solo act and with numerous accomplices. In the Seventies you might have caught him at the Latin Quarter or the Elbow Room when he wasn't pursuing studies at the Faculty of Music or playing with "FREEWAY" or "SWEET FEVER". Later he showed up as an opening act at Change of Pace and with the "SOPHISTIKATS". the house band for seven years at the Seven Dwarfs Restaurant. He's currently a member of "MOSAIC", "ENCHANTE", "JJ FIASCO", among others, and has appeared with the "DAVE DILLON BLUES BAND", THE STREAM TEAM, and SHARON BEE. He also hosts a weekly concert series, "ACOUSTIC SPOTLIGHT". His first CD, "LIVE ONE", has been followed by his third, "ME THREE", and is soon to be followed by his second, "LOOK MA, TWO HANDS". All this time, Jake has also fallen deeply in love with the theatre, and acts and teaches drama whenever he can. He has created a controversial series of one-person shows entitled "ORIGINAL SINS". Watch for Part Three is you dare. |
