THE THIRST

Dark forest trembles, the chill of the night
Lost soul held captive by cool blue moonlight
The vice of my ego ‘bove heavenly host
And I raise my glass high in a toast

Simmering slowly and stirred in your head
Mixing it up as you lie in your bed
Take all you want as you drink from me too
We’ll dine on each other till through

Can you quench my thirst do you think you’re the one
You’d be the first then to get the job done
Can you quench my thirst can you satisfy
The insatiable thirst deep inside

With my sharp pointed canines, tapping the flesh
Buried inside you where it is best
Serving with pleasure, your just desserts
And you give and you give till it hurts

Driven by longing and primal urge
Feasting upon you, a banquet, we merge
Through mental torment, between earthly plane
A suffering madness that’s so plain

Can you quench my thirst do you think you’re the one
You’d be the first then to get the job done
Can you quench my thirst can you satisfy
The insatiable thirst deep inside
